Dji released new PTZ control system - part 1

This month, DJI Innovations released the DJI Master Rocker and DJI Motion Controller - Two PTZ control systems at the NAB Show in 2018 for professional film and television workers and various shooting scenes. Provide efficient and reliable PTZ control solution for people all around the world. DJI Master Rocker and DJI Motion Controller Professional edition can be used with the some DJI PTZ products and third-party camera equipment, to help film and television workers easily shoot complex lenses, get large-scale high-quality images, with more creative space.

DJI Master Rocker

DJI Master Rocker is a high-precision, low-latency, long battery life, long-range PTZ controller developed for the professional-level film and television shooting market. It is rich in features, convenient and easy to use, and meets the different control needs of high-end photographers.

It uses three operating wheels to control the roll, pitch and translation axes respectively. The high-resolution photoelectric encoder can detect the subtle operation of the photographer. With precise control algorithm, the movement can be converted into stable and precise movement of the PTZ, achieving high-quality imagery. The DJI master rocker uses 2.4GHz and 5.8Ghz dual-frequency two-way wireless connection to ensure the reliable and stable connection between the control terminal and the mobile shooting device. Wired connections are also supported, and the minimum latency can be as low as 10 milliseconds.

The design of the DJI master rocker is simple and efficient. The operator can directly adjust the PTZ parameters and monitor the device status at the main console. There are 3 custom buttons on the rocker, which allows the photographer to personalize the settings. The trajectory repetition function provided by the panning wheel can record multiple sets of control trajectories, achieving perfect playback of the pan-tilt movement, helping the film and television workers to work efficiently and creating with great concentration. The wheel control module is equipped with a three-stage pan-tilt directional control switch and a speed, smoothness, and damping adjustment knob to make use more convenient. Modular design makes the camera stabilizer panning function more powerful and rich, and it can easily obtain perfect images under different scenarios. The operating wheel and its control module can be quickly disassembled.
